The Ledeburstrasse in Freiberg in Saxonia was designated after the Professor of the local mountain academy Karl Heinrich Adolf Ledebur (1837-1906), which discovered the Ledeburit (see there). Also one institute building of the mountain academy Freiberg carries the name Ledebur building.
